For many rural youths, there is a burning desire to go to obtain university education and reach the stars their dreams. But more often than not, it remains only but dreams. So, you find bright potentials go dim, and in many cases, die away. Poverty is a major education barrier in rural communities. But that is where we find opportunity to make impact.

We believe rural youths must be encouraged to further their education and attain their dreams; we provide strategic support to enable them access education, as a way of reducing inequalities.

Earlier in May, we empowered 300 rural youths (males & females) willing to further their education to the university by purchasing 300 Jamb registration forms worth 1.4 million. The pictures above show the Jamb candidates gather to receive recommended Jamb texts and CDs.

We believe that education is central to development and to the improvement of the lives of rural youths. We are preparing a people for the future. As Mitchelle Obama rightly observed, “The ability to read, write, and analyze; the confidence to stand up and demand justice and equality; the qualifications and connections to get your foot in the door and take your seat at the table… all of that starts with education.” We must all support education at all levels.

Education goes beyond shaping us as individuals and enhancing our perspectives—it helps us handle problematic situations better. With educated opinions, we can support each other and make decisions that help establish a positive change in our communities; we can promote equality and increase our country’s economy.

Supporting education is our opportunity to beat down crime, violence and promote justice. Above all, it is the most strategic way to reduce poverty and increase income opportunities.
